Gerald Anderson and Maja Salvador will team up for the first time in ABS-CBN's Christmas series 'Give Love on Christmas Presents The Gift of Life'
MANILA -- During this season of giving, celebrity couple Maja Salvador and Gerald Anderson shared the best gift they received from each other.
"Ako siyempre 'yung love niya. Every day niya ipinaparamdam kung gaano ako ka-espesyal. Hindi siya nagsasawa na iparamdam kung gaano niya ako kamahal," Salvador said at the press launch of their first project together "Gift of Life," which will air on December 22 replacing "Gift Giver."
Salvador admitted that the grandest gift she received from Anderson was their first date.
"Siguro 'yung pinaka-first ever date namin ('yung may helicopter) kasi nga love is in the air," Salvador said.
For his part, Anderson said the best gift he received from Salvador is her whole being.
"Siguro sa akin more than boyfriend-girlfriend relationship mas mahalaga sa akin yung pagkatao niya, kung paano siya," Anderson said.
"Siya 'yung tipong kung nasaan man siya o ano man ang ginagawa niya, she will cross the ocean, she will climb a mountain for you on the spot.

She said that she accepted the project since “maganda ‘yung kuwento at saka Pasko naman.”
“Siyempre mapapaisip ka na ano kaya ang pakiramdam na katrabaho mo (ang BF mo). At least may bago akong nalaman sa kanya as an actor,” she said.
Bilang Melissa sa The Gift of Life, Maja meets Gerald’s character (Tristan), a young man who is in need of a kidney transplant.
While working with Gerald ay meron siyang na-discover sa binata.
“Ang napansin ko lang ay parehas kami ng atake, hindi paulit-ulit, inaaral ‘yung eksena. Parang kung saan kami madadala kasi mas natural ‘yun, eh. Ganoon kasi ako so parang natuwa ako na nagkatrabaho kami, kasi ganoon din pala siya. Hindi sobrang pinag-isipan kung paano gagawin ‘yung atake sa eksena. Parang go with the flow, kung ano ‘yung mararamdaman mo,” she revealed.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight May 2 2015

Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he's ready to fight Manny Pacquiao next May in a long anticipated bout that would be the richest ever in boxing.
Mayweather called for negotiations for the fight to be take place, though he warned Pacquiao not to expect to get anywhere near the money that he himself would make.
"You lost twice and now you're coming back begging for the same money?" Mayweather asked. "That's not gonna happen."
In an interview on the Showtime network from a fight card he was promoting in San Antonio, Mayweather for the first time called for the fight to happen and even gave a date — May 2. He claimed it wasn't him but Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, who has been the main obstacle for not making the fight in the last five years.
"Floyd Mayweather is not ducking or dodging any opponent," Mayweather said. "Bob Arum is stopping the fight. We have been trying to make this fight happen for many years behind the scene."
Pacquiao turned the pressure up on Mayweather to make the fight last month, saying the time had come to put on the much anticipated bout. Arum said he had also been in talks with CBS Corp. chairman Les Moonves about the fight.
CBS operates Showtime, which has Mayweather under contract for two more fights in May and September.
Mayweather repeated his old charges about Pacquiao not wanting to do blood tests prior to the fight for it not happening five years ago. He also said he offered Pacquiao $40 million for a bout, but he refused.
Mayweather, who hasn't lost in 47 fights, said he was confident he could beat Pacquiao and eager to star in an extremely lucrative fight.
"I know that he's not on my level," Mayweather said. "The fan would love to see the fight. And, of course, I want to go out with a bang."
No one knows how rich a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would be, coming so late after it first should have happened in 2009. There are some who think both fighters have slipped some with advancing age, but there's no doubt that the fight still holds tremendous appeal.
It would likely gross at least $250 million, and Mayweather's purse alone would be more than $100 million.
Mayweather was not asked in the ringside interview about the murder-suicide of rapper Earl Warren Hayes and his wife in Los Angeles on Monday. Police spoke to Mayweather after the killings following media reports that he may have spoken to Hayes before he shot Stephanie Elyse Moseley and then took his own life in their apartment.
John Lloyd speaks up on soap with Maja, Jericho

MANILA – Actor John Lloyd Cruz finally broke his silence after it was reported that he backed out of a television series which he was supposed to headline along with Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.
"Bridges" was first announced in August as a production of Star Creatives, the team behind the primetime hit "The Legal Wife," with Rosales, Cruz and Salvador as lead stars.
Speaking to entertainment site Pep, Cruz clarified that at the time, the casting wasn't final yet.
“Medyo unfair sa akin how it all played out kasi parang ang lumabas, iniwan ko yung show. Sabi ko nga nung una, isa lang ako sa mga na-consider lang for the part. Hindi pa naman final 'yun,” he said.
According to Cruz, one reason why he did not accept the project was because his contract was about to expire when the project was offered to him.
“Sinasabi ko nga sa kanila na bago tayo mag-proceed sa kung ano mang bagay, after mai-pitch sa 'yo, after ng story con, ayaw ko mag-proceed kasi alam ko nga na mag-e-expire ako. Paano ko aayusin 'yung kontrata ko if I have a show na gagawin na magra-run for six months? It’s not going to make sense,” he said.
“Ang nangyari, since inaayos nga namin 'yung kontrata ko, ang sabi ko sa management, ‘Baka po gusto niyong mag-consider ng iba for the part kasi ayaw ko naman silang paghintayin kasi parang hinihintay nila ako.’ Ayaw ko ng ganun. And added pressure din 'yun kasi 'yung decision mo napakaimportante and ayaw mo siya maging clouded because merong pending na show na hinihintay ka,” the actor further explained.
Cruz said it is not possible for him to leave a show which he has not accepted yet.
“Unang una, hindi pa ako entirely committed doon para iwan. Pangalawa, hindi ko pa 'yun tinatanggap para masabing iniwan ko. Hindi pa ako talaga solid na part noon as much as si Maja and si Echo. So parang ako, paano ko iiwan 'yun kung hindi pa naman talaga ako diyan?” he said.
In their previous interviews, both Rosales and Salvador chose to keep mum when asked to react to rumors that Cruz will no longer be a part of the project.
"Well, I can't release any official statement, eh, as of now," Rosales had said. "'Di ako na-instruct na mag-release ng any information about it, but all I can say is tuloy 'yung show at nag-su-shoot kami ngayon.”
As for Salvador, she said at the time: “Siyempre lahat tayo gusto natin makatrabaho ang A-List actor na si John Lloyd Cruz. Pero may mga valid reasons siya at kailangan natin tanggapin 'yun. Kung soon makakatrabaho natin siya ulit, kung mabibigyan ng chance, mas okay.”
Salvador and Rosales started filming for "Bridges" last September 12.
